The new Chevy Silverado 1500 is built to handle workloads of all sizes, and it's often used as a daily driver. The brand's new Super Cruise feature allows for a hands-free drive on the open highway. Several advanced powertrains are available, including a 2.7-liter turbocharged engine. This high-output engine produces 430 pound-feet of torque and 310 horsepower. The next engine comes in 3.0 liters. This turbo-diesel engine makes 305 horsepower and tows an estimated 13,300 pounds. The available 5.3-liter V8 is popular as it cranks out 383 pound-feet of torque and 355 horsepower. The final engine comes in 6.2 liters, and this V8 produces 460 pound-feet of torque and 420 horsepower.
